We woke up at 2:30 a.m. to make the drive out for this Glamis Sand Dunes sunrise session, and it was 1000% worth it. Sunrise is the perfect time out here — the sand is untouched, the light is soft and golden, and you don’t have to worry about the summer heat hurting your feet. Alexandra Jauregui from Floral Event Design Studio created a gorgeous bouquet that added the perfect pop of color against the vast desert landscape. The dunes themselves are endless, creating a natural backdrop that feels right out of a movie. How is this in Southern California and not the Sahara?! Brooke and Ansel navigated the sand like pros and we were rewarded with the most breath-taking photos I think I’ve ever taken.
